How to remove sunscreen

Feb 05,2025

The removal method of sunscreen is as follows:

1. Use makeup remover: Pour an appropriate amount of makeup remover onto a cotton pad, ensuring that the pad is fully soaked. Gently wipe the sunscreen on the skin, paying attention to repeatedly wiping until the sunscreen is completely dissolved. Finally, rinse with clean water and wash your face with facial cleanser to ensure thorough cleansing of the skin.

2. Use makeup remover: Apply an appropriate amount of makeup remover to the face, then gently massage the face with fingertips to help dissolve the sunscreen. After massaging for about two minutes, rinse the face clean with warm water. Subsequently, use facial cleanser to clean the face again to remove residual makeup remover and sunscreen.

3. Use facial cleanser (for non waterproof sunscreen): If the sunscreen is non waterproof or the formula has been improved to make it easier to remove, you can directly use facial cleanser for cleaning. Before using facial cleanser, moisten your face and hands with clean water. Squeeze an appropriate amount of facial cleanser into the palm of your hand, rub and lather with both hands, apply to your face, and massage clockwise in circular motions for 2 minutes. Finally, rinse with clean water to complete the cleaning.

Sunscreen generally has waterproof and sweat resistant properties, so it is recommended to use professional makeup remover products for removal. If the sunscreen is not removed thoroughly for a long time, it may lead to enlarged and clogged pores, and the skin may also be stimulated by sunscreen products, resulting in redness, itching, and other problems. Be sure to carefully remove sunscreen and choose makeup removal products that are suitable for yourself.
