Jan 18,2025

The method for overnight preservation of crabs is as follows:

1. Refrigerate storage: Tie the crabs tightly and place them in the refrigerator's fresh-keeping layer, keeping the temperature between 5 ° C and 10 ° C. Cover them with a wet towel to maintain a humidity of around 70%, but do not completely wrap the crabs in the wet towel to avoid suffocation. This method can maintain the freshness of crabs and prolong their survival time.

2. Water conservation: Place the crab in a basin or pool, add a small amount of water, the amount should be half the height of the crab's body, and maintain the humidity at around 70%. Choose tap water or purified water, and change the water every 2 to 3 days to maintain clean and transparent water quality. At the same time, attention should be paid to controlling the temperature, with room temperature between 15 ℃ and 25 ℃ being more suitable. This method is suitable for situations where long-term storage is required and conditions permit.

3. Salted or drunken preservation: If a large amount of crabs need to be preserved, salt pickling or drunken preservation methods can be used. Salting is the process of cleaning crabs, drying them, placing them in a container, adding an appropriate amount of salt and water, stirring evenly, and then sealing and storing them; Drunken preparation is the process of marinating crabs in a drunken sauce for a period of time. Both methods can inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria, prolong the shelf life of crabs, but attention should be paid to cleaning and cooking during consumption, as well as controlling the amount consumed.
