How to use a hybrid of oil and electricity

Jan 02,2025

The usage method of hybrid vehicles is as follows:

1. Start the vehicle: Similar to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, simply press the start button to start the hybrid car.

2. Choose driving mode: Pure electric mode: The vehicle is completely powered by the battery and the engine will not start. Suitable for short distance travel, such as congested roads or parking lots in cities. When the battery is fully charged, it can fully utilize the range of the battery, reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Hybrid mode: The vehicle will automatically switch between electric and fuel drive according to actual needs. When the battery is low, the engine will automatically start to charge the battery and assist in driving; When the battery is fully charged and the vehicle speed allows, the vehicle will prioritize using battery power. This mode balances energy efficiency and performance, making it suitable for most driving scenarios. Engine driven mode: In some vehicle models, this mode may exist where the vehicle is completely powered by the engine and the battery is in a charging state but not directly involved in driving. Suitable for high-speed driving or situations requiring high power output, but with relatively high fuel consumption. The driver can switch these modes through buttons or knobs on the center console. Please refer to the vehicle's user manual for specific operation methods.

3. Charging and maintenance: Charging: The battery of a hybrid electric vehicle can be charged through a braking energy recovery system. When braking or decelerating, some of the braking energy will be converted into electrical energy and stored in the battery. You can also choose to charge the battery, such as at a home charging station or using a power adapter to connect the car to a regular power outlet. Maintenance: To ensure the normal operation of hybrid vehicles, it is recommended to perform regular maintenance and upkeep, including checking the braking system, tire pressure, cooling system, etc.

Different brands and models of hybrid vehicles may have different specific operations and functions, so it is recommended to carefully read the vehicle's user manual before use to understand detailed operating methods and precautions.
