Is it good to use full face peeling for freckle removal in beauty salons

Feb 06,2025

Full face peeling used in beauty salons for spot removal is usually not an ideal choice for the following reasons:

1. Skin injury: During the process of peeling and removing spots on the entire face, the keratinocytes and some epidermal tissues on the surface of the skin will be removed. Long term or excessive use may lead to thinning of the skin, weakened barrier function, and make the skin sensitive and fragile. After peeling, the rate of skin moisture loss accelerates, which can easily lead to problems such as dryness, tightness, and flaking of the skin. Improper operation or postoperative care may also cause pigmentation, capillary dilation, and even scar formation.

2. Limited freckle removal effect: pigmentation usually grows deep in the skin, and full face peeling mainly acts on the surface of the skin, making it difficult to achieve deep freckle removal. Peeling and removing spots may only temporarily improve skin tone and cannot fundamentally solve the problem of spots.

3. Alternative solution: In comparison, modern medical beauty technologies such as laser freckle removal are safer and more effective. Laser can precisely act on the spot area, crushing pigment particles and excreting them with the body's metabolism, while stimulating collagen regeneration and improving skin quality. Laser freckle removal usually requires multiple treatments to achieve the desired effect, but each treatment causes less damage to the skin and has a shorter recovery time.

The full face peeling method used in beauty salons to remove freckles is not a recommended approach. If considering freckle removal, it is recommended to consult a professional doctor or medical beauty institution to choose a more suitable freckle removal plan for oneself.
