How to pull the crayfish line

The extraction of crayfish shrimp line can be carried out according to the following steps:

1. Preparation stage: Clean the crayfish thoroughly to ensure that the surface is free of sediment and impurities. You can soak it in salt or vinegar water for a period of time, which helps with sterilization and cleaning.

2. Locate the shrimp line: Find the middle tail wing of the crayfish, which is where the shrimp line connects. Usually, crayfish have three tails, and the middle one should be used for manipulation.

3. Pull out the shrimp line: Method 1: Gently pinch the tail of the crayfish with your hand, then use your other hand to move the middle tail wing upwards, while pulling it outwards with force. The shrimp line is usually pulled out along with the tail wing. Method 2: If the shrimp line is tight or difficult to pull out directly, you can first peel off the back shell of the crayfish, gently pinch the part between the shrimp tail and the shrimp meat, and then gently pull from the shrimp tail towards the head with force. The shrimp line will be pulled out accordingly. If you still find it difficult, you can try injecting water into the tail of the shrimp and washing it in the direction of the shrimp line to help the shrimp line detach more easily from the meat. Method 3: Another more direct way is to use scissors to cut open the back of the crayfish, and then directly use your hands or tools to pick out the shrimp line. Although this method may damage the integrity of crayfish, the effect of removing the shrimp line is the most thorough.

During the process of removing the shrimp line, keep your hands clean to avoid contaminating the crayfish. At the same time, according to personal taste and cooking needs, it is also possible to choose to remove the shrimp line before or during cooking.
