Working principle of DC charging station for new energy vehicles

The working principle of the DC charging station for new energy vehicles is as follows:

AC input stage: The input end of the DC charging station is connected to AC power, which is then converted into DC power after being stepped down by a transformer and rectified by a rectifier. Rectifiers typically use rectifier bridge circuits consisting of a series of diodes that can convert AC signals into unidirectional DC signals.

DC output stage: After rectification, the DC power is filtered through a filter to remove any residual AC components. Then, the DC signal is converted through a DC-DC converter to adjust the voltage and current to meet the charging needs of new energy vehicles. Direct current energy is transmitted to the battery for charging through the charging plug connected to the new energy vehicle.

Control system management: There is a control system inside the DC charging station that can control the charging process, including adjusting parameters such as charging current, charging voltage, and charging time. At the same time, the control system of the charging station will detect the battery status of the vehicle, confirm the current battery level and charging requirements, and continuously monitor the charging status of the battery, guiding parameters such as current intensity and charging voltage to ensure efficient and safe charging.
