Testosterone and other sex hormones affect an individual's sexual attractiveness and desire for a partner, further deepening the depth of love.

3. Comprehensive effect: Love is not just the simple action of dopamine and hormones, it also includes complex interactions at multiple levels such as emotions, cognition, society, and culture. Dopamine and hormones provide the physiological driving force and emotional experience foundation for love, but true love also needs to be built on mutual understanding, respect, trust, and support. It is one-sided to attribute love solely to dopamine and hormones, as it overlooks the richer and deeper connotations of love.
