Jan 03,2025

The operation sequence for charging new energy vehicles at home is as follows:

1. Preparation stage: Ensure that the vehicle has come to a complete stop and is in P gear. Stop and turn off the engine. Some models may not be able to start charging when the vehicle is not turned off or the doors are not locked. Open the vehicle charging port cover, check for any foreign objects or water stains inside the charging port, and clean it thoroughly. Prepare charging equipment, and if using a charging station, ensure that the charging station is correctly installed and powered on; If using a household charger, ensure that it is connected to a household 220V power outlet.

2. Connect the charging device: Remove the charging gun from the charging station or household charger. During the removal process, please hold down the switch above the charging gun and unplug it. Check whether there is mud or foreign matter on the charging gun head to ensure that the charging gun is clean and undamaged. Aim the charging gun at the vehicle charging port and insert it until you hear a "click" lock sound, indicating that the charging gun is correctly connected.

3. Start charging and monitor: If using a charging station, follow the instructions of the charging station to start charging through touch screen, mobile app, or card swiping. Set charging parameters on the charging station or app as needed, such as charging capacity, charging time, etc. During the charging process, the charging status can be viewed in real-time through the charging station screen, mobile app, or vehicle screen, including charging current, voltage, charging capacity, range, and other data. Ensure good ventilation in the charging area to avoid battery overheating.

4. End charging and disconnect: When the vehicle is fully charged or needs to end charging early, click the stop charging button through the mobile app or charging station screen. Press the switch on the charging gun and gently pull out the charging gun, being careful not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the interface. Close the vehicle charging port cover and place the charging gun back in its original position.

5. Follow up maintenance: Regularly check the charging station and charging interface, remove dust and dirt, and ensure that the charging equipment is in good condition. If damage or abnormalities are found in the charging equipment, professional personnel should be contacted in a timely manner for repair and maintenance.

The above operation sequence may vary depending on different brands and models of new energy vehicles and charging equipment. Please refer to the vehicle manual and charging equipment operation guide for operation.
