1. Forest musk deer: The forest musk deer is the smallest mammal in the musk family of the order Artiodactylodes, and the dry secretion in its male sachet is called musk. The forest musk deer is mainly distributed in Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan and other places in China, inhabiting high-altitude coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests or broad-leaved deciduous forests at an altitude of 800-2500 meters.
2. Musk deer: Musk deer is also a species of animal in the musk family, and its male body also has a sachet and can secrete musk. The musk deer is relatively large in size, with a light brown color, and usually inhabits mountains and forests, mostly active after dawn or dusk.
