The cooling system of new energy vehicles mainly consists of the following parts:

1. Water pump: The water pump is the core component of the cooling system, usually using a centrifugal water pump. Its main function is to pressurize the coolant, ensuring that it circulates in the cooling system, thereby effectively cooling key components such as the engine and battery. If the water pump malfunctions, it will directly affect the normal operation of the cooling system, resulting in high engine or battery temperatures.

2. Radiators: Radiators are key components used in cooling systems to dissipate heat. It is usually located at the front of the vehicle and works in conjunction with the cooling fan. When the coolant flows through the radiator, the airflow generated by the fan accelerates the air flow on the surface of the radiator, thereby taking away the heat in the coolant and ensuring that the cooling system can continuously and effectively cool the vehicle.

3. Cooling fan: The cooling fan is an important auxiliary component in the cooling system. It is usually used in conjunction with a heat sink to accelerate air flow on the surface of the heat sink by generating strong airflow, thereby improving heat dissipation efficiency. When the vehicle is in motion or the temperature of components such as the engine and battery is too high, the cooling fan will automatically start or accelerate to ensure that the cooling system can quickly dissipate heat.

The cooling system of new energy vehicles may also include other components such as thermostats, water temperature sensors, compensating water buckets, water jackets in the engine block and cylinder head. These components work together to ensure that the cooling system can efficiently and stably provide cooling services for the vehicle.
